In June 2024, the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP) conducted expedition, patrol, and maintenance activities with the collaboration of allies focused on natural area protection.
Expeditions
In partnership with “Sea Shepherd,” an expedition to Bajos de Norte was undertaken to gather data and conduct surveillance.
Patrol and Surveillance
In Arrecife Alacranes, patrols and calibration of the “EarthRanger” app were carried out with park rangers, fishermen, WILDAID, SEPASY, and SEMAR.
Maintenance
The field station on Isla Pérez in Arrecife Alacranes Park was maintained with the support of BEPENSA.
